1. Make a To-Do List

Every day comes with new tasks to accomplish and you can make it easy for yourself by listing all the things that you need to finish for the day.

Doing the simplest task in your to-do list makes you feel really productive because you get to cross off a lot of things. However, by the time you’re done with your less important tasks, you’re already exhausted and even more reluctant to start on your more important tasks.

It seems like you’re just doing it for the sake of finishing it without considering the quality of your work.  Also, multitasking could take more time compared with simply focusing on one task at a time.

You might be thinking that the ability to multitask increases your efficiency, but it does not. It would be better if you make a habit of committing to a single task before moving on to your next task.

4. Hide or Uninstall Social Media Apps

It’s time for you to disconnect from your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media apps that have nothing to do with your work right now. Stop wasting your time reacting to pictures on Facebook, checking updates on Twitter, thinking what Instagram story to post, and watching viral videos on YouTube. Instead, focus on your work and be productive.

5. Enjoy!

The line “If you love what you’re doing, you’ll never get tired of it” may sound cliché, but it’s true. There may be times that you get so caught up in busyness that you forget to enjoy what you’re doing because you’re too focused on getting things done.
